Types of Stamps: Stamped Envelopes

A Stamped Envelope is a type of postal stationary with the postage stamp either embossed or pre-printed on the envelope. They are collected as either "entires," (The whole envelope as sold by the post office) or as "cut squares" in which the stamp is cut out of the envelope with a surrounding square shaped margin as illustrated below.
